Forum Contains New Posts The Salish Coast
By Britannia
The Salish Coast is a kaleidoscope of landscape, ranging from flat, open territory to steep, cliffy drops towards the north. Against its center sits thick woods and a wetlands marsh for flavor. Often times the farthest western reaches are robed in fog that is hesitant to lift until mid-afternoon. Nothing compares to the sights and smells of this rugged region, providing a plethora of locations to satiate the senses. This coastal region harbors some of the largest lakes and rivers and holds a strong population of predators and prey who feast on its bounty. Region Map and Information

Forum Contains New Posts The Taholah Flats
By Britannia
Aptly named for its rolling hills, dipping valleys, and vast expanses of field while the southern regions turn to thick forests and marshlands in comparison. An expanse of beach borders to the west, providing hunting opportunities in the form of numerous sea animals. Prey is plentiful, but there is little opportunity for thicker shelter, making this a prime place to hunt for predators that do not mind the level of exposure. Region Map and Information

Forum Contains New Posts The Quinaults
By Britannia
Vibrantly green forests filled with a plethora of animal and plant life alike make up the vast majority of the Quinaults. This temperate region is covered with verdant rainforests, majestic water falls, and beautiful lakes filled with pure clear waters. These exotic forests sit in the shadow of the Quilcene Mountain range which loom above the forests often snow capped and shrouded in low hanging clouds. Fog frequently clings to the low valleys of this region and rain here is the most common kind of weather making the ground wet almost year-round. Terrain can be rough in this region where dense rainforest is combined with unforgiving mountainous territory. Region Map and Information

Forum Contains New Posts The Quilcenes
By Britannia
The Quilcenes is a hybrid region made mostly of formidable mountains and thick forest. It is recognized as one of the driest, sunniest places in the entire game save for the mountain caps that are loaded down with snow. Elk populate the entire area although they stick mostly to the low western territories to seek safety in the forested slopes of Elk Lick. Other landmarks of interest are Sawtooth Point, Mount T'kope, Lizzardhead Peak, and Spruce Mountains...all of which are too hazardous for habitation by locals. To look upon the skyline at dawn or dusk would reveal a panoramic field of jagged silhouettes against empty space; it is said to look like the discarded jawbone of a once legendary beast. This region is suited best for creatures who are accustomed to long hikes...or at least those who don't mind taking the (very) long way around. Region Map and Information

Forum Contains New Posts The Aleshanees
By Britannia
The Aleshanees are wet and soggy region that tends to be flat and open with sparse woodlands. It is common to find fields, meadows, and open wetlands in the North which tends to be shrouded in fog while the South tends to be a touch drier and wooded. It is a verdant sanctuary for birds and aquatic life who choose the banks of the Talulah Bend or the Nenamooks Refuge to nest and raise their young. Wildlife is prolific here, as well as a vast array of plant life that thrive in the somewhat marshy, damp openness. Region Map and Information
